DACH Sales Director - VAD


I am currently working in partnership with an emerging global manufacturer operating in the Cardiology space. This organisation specialises in the development of a highly innovative Heart Assist VAD device and are making impressive strides within the market. They are looking to aggressively target the DACH market in the next few months and are looking to speak with talented commercial candidates with relevant product experience.

As Sales Director, DACH, you will be given the autonomy to manage a range of commercial activities across the DACH region. Reporting into the VP EMEA, the role will involve;

  • Building the direct Sales operations up from scratch
  • Increasing the market presence and awareness of their signature VAD Device
  • Regularly liaising with KOL’s and Cardiac Surgeons in the key public/private hospitals across the region
  • Developing a Sales and Clinical team from scratch

Given the start-up dynamic of the organisation, we are looking to speak with candidates who possess a proactive, high energy approach in the market. There is a strong business development element to the role so it is important that you are willing to fully commit to the challenge. Other required experience for the role includes;

  • 5+ years’ experience working in the Cardiology industry (ideally within the VAD space)
  • Proven track record of commercial success within the Medical Device setting
  • Located in the DACH region and able to commit to travel (2-3 days per week)
  • An established network of Cardiac Surgeons
