Head of Sales - Wind Technology

A leading European wind technology provider is looking to grow their  business in Germany and we are looking for a highly influential, self motivated Head of Sales to help drive this development.


This is a role for an entrepreneurial and creative individual with a strong technical knowledge of all things wind! If you're looking to join an international company, with a globally unique technology and fantastic growth opportunities, then this is for you!


What is the focus of this role?


  • Customer development, growth and sales essentially. We're looking to bring together great customer service and experience with targeted, wind-turbine-performance solutions that will be effective in the German market.
  • Solutions and a consultative approach. This is not a one size fits all role, and it requires someone that can think outside the box away from the commodity approach that many businesses in the market stick to.
  • Full responsibility for the German market. You won't just need to be your usual sales-orientated self, you'll be managing a P&L, financials, orders and more! But don't worry, we can train you on this.
  • Existing customer development and future new business development. Whilst the core development focus will be on new customers, we're also looking to our existing customers and building on the existing relationships we have with great logistics solutions.

What are we looking for?

  • A good knowledge and existing contacts within the wind industry.
  • If you've sold wind products directly then we want to speak with you!
  • You must be: highly autonomous and driven, have confidence in your own decisions and take the initiative
  • Creativity and an urge to get things done – be impatient, don’t sit around waiting for things to happen.
  • Oh yeah...and your German skills need to be sharp!
