Charlton Morris is excited to continue their partnership with one of the global leaders in the global factory automations segment in searching for a new regional sales director for their Central region. Product wise, it'll include the likes of drives, HMI's, network products, sensors, motion control, PLC's, and safety mainly sold to OEM's serving a variety of industries such as packaging, automotive, F&B, to name a few.
The role will manage a turnover of approx. $70M with a direct headcount responsibility of 7 people with shared internal resources such as finance, technical and HR. You can expect to spend plenty of time on the road, meeting customers, coaching your sales team, and maintaining a close understanding of the market - This is not a role where you'll be sat in the office - Close customer contact is essential! The company operates in a matrixed structure; therefore, you should expect a degree of cross-selling and be able to work flexibly to ensure overall organisation targets are met.
We're looking for a profile with a great network and understanding of the key OEM's in the Central region of the US. You should have a grasp of the automation industry and have a sales track record that speaks for itself.
