Regional Technical Sales Leader – Paper
An international and well-known company focused on functional polymers for multiple market applications is currently looking to bring on a Regional Technical Sales Leader to increase their commercial impact within the binders business. This business unit provides tailored polymer solutions to the Paper & Board industry.
If you are a technically-focused chemist, or polymers scientist who has strong commercial acumen then this position will be a great fit. The role will break down into three main components; management of a portfolio of client accounts within the Nordic region, developing the paper business – growing into new market areas, and providing technical support for customers. The most successful sales representatives will work closely with R&D and marketing to ensure custoer feedback is being implemented in the product development cycle.
This is a highly customer-facing position where direct relationships with paper and board mills will need to be built and strengthened. Any previous network within the paper mills of the Nordic countries would be highly advantageous.
The role will break down in the following way:
(~50%) Sales and Account Management – managing existing relationships and developing revenue within established accounts, focused on the Nordic region.
(~25%) Application and Market Development – improving personal understanding of the paper coating chemicals product line, as well as representing the product effectively and visibly on the market. Seek out sales prospects and develop new business in the Nordics.
(~25%) Technical Support – provide timely technical support to clients, and ensure a thorough liaison between client feedback and R&D teams.

• Qualified to BS, MS or PhD level in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry or Polymer Science.
• Able to live and work in Helsinki, or remotely in Sweden.
