Charlton Morris are proud partners of an exciting and innovative mid-tiered building automation and energy performance contracting business who have grown seen growth from $40M to $70M over a 4-year period in the US. As they’ve grown revenue throughout the whole business, they are now seeking a Sales Director in North Carolina to be responsible for leading a team to secure new business whilst retaining major accounts in the Carolina(s) and surrounding regions.
You will have full responsibility for establishing and implementing a strategic plan to continue growing the region, reviewing performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels. Reporting into you will be 5 Business Development Executives & 1 Sales Manager, you will actively drive sales growth from within a defined geographic territory, through the sale of our building automation & controls solution portfolio, into relationship Customers (medium/large end users, contractors, FM’s and local government).
Ideally, you will have an engineering background, with a minimum of 12+ years experience leading sales in the building automation and/or energy performance contracting industry. You will enforce the importance in the team of bridging the gap between customer and business, building key relationships to expand on in the future.
As a senior leader, you will be field-based and you will assist the sale of my clients solutions when necessary, and you will have previous experience selling and managing sales teams in the US.
