Charlton Morris have teamed up once again with an exclusive Biotech partner, to help identify a high calibre Sales Specialist who will have the privilege of selling their High-throughput Genomic and Cell Analysis platforms & reagent portfolio across North Germany. They have a stellar reputation within the global Life Sciences market, manufacturing a proprietary range of instrumentation and reagents that advance drug discovery, genomic and clinical research.

Reporting into the Country Manager, the Sales Specialist acts with the highest autonomy to manage existing key relationships with major Academic and Clinical customers, whilst developing new sales plans to acquire new business. We believe 60% field travel is realistic and sufficient in order to be successful here.

The Sales Specialist will possess a minimum of 2-3 successful years’ experience selling in the German Life Science market, with strong bias towards Genomic/Molecular Biology or Flow Cytometry/Multiplex instrumentation. Our German team is fast growing but still quite small, so this individual will be self-motivated and happy to work independently when required to achieve and exceed objectives. 

This is a newly created hire and considering notice periods, we are looking to appoint the Sales Specialist as soon as possible!

Attractive prerequisites you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum 2-3 years direct sales experience with Genomic/molecular biology instrumentation in the North German region is prefered.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Immunology, Molecular or Cell Biology is prefered; hands on lab experience with qPCR, NGS, Flow Cytometry or Multiplex Imaging products is highly attractive.
  • Proven self-starter able to demonstrate strong sales growth and knowledge of managing large accounts; overseeing longer capital equipment sales cycles.
