Charlton Morris are proud to confirm an exciting new partnership with a pioneering Pre-Clinical Contract Research Organisation at the forefront of providing the highest services for Immune Monitoring & Proteomic discovery applications serving the global Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology field. As a senior figure within the Belgian site, and working alongside the Scientific Operations Director, you will lead a team of skilled and dedicated Principal Scientists who are working on leading key validation studies for high profile Pharmaceutical clients across Biomarker, Immuno-oncology, Immuno-therapy and many more target application studies. 

The majority of studies are ran using advanced Multiparametric Flow Cytometry platforms from leading suppliers, so we are ideally on the hunt for an experienced Senior Flow Cytometrist, confident with managing senior Scientists, interacting with commercial clients and working under strict GLP/GCLP conditions. Oh, and a PhD in Immunology would make it a full house!  So in summary, here’s a quick-fire overview of what our successful applicant will be able to demonstrate to the client: 

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience leading teams of Assay design/validation Scientists within GLP/GCLP regulated Service Laboratories.
  • Must have experience managing major design/validation projects for Pharmaceutical or Biopharma clients; displaying superior scientific and business acumen.
  • Hands on experience developing Multiparametric Flow Cytometry Assays and operating Advanced Flow Cytometry platforms. ELISpot experts are also welcome.
  • PhD in Immunology or closely related research discipline (Immuno-Oncology, Haematology). Legally able to work in the Belgian Pharmaceutical field.
