Charlton Morris are excited to announce an exclusive recruitment project with Synthego Corporation, a pioneering Biotech providing powerful genome engineering solutions across Engineered Cell Lines, CRISPR-Cas9 kits & libraries and Bioinformatic platforms, to hire several Strategic Account Managers and establish their European commercial force. This one is for the North UK & Nordic region.

Founded in 2012 by technical entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, including co-inventor of ‘CRISPR’ itself Jennifer Doudna on the advisory board, they have delivered Year on Year growth at 3.5X, and have raised a healthy $160M in Series C funding, and are now searching for someone equally passionate about the CRISPR-Cas9 revolution with a proven commercial track record in driving the uptake of novel/disruptive technologies and products into Bioproduction, Stem Cell Research, Cell & Gene Therapy related accounts.

Reporting into the European Commercial Leader, you will work home officed anywhere in North UK, Sweden or Denmark, possess domain expertise in gene engineering, stem cell media or cell line bioproduction and showcase credentials in driving high digit growth across pharmaceutical, biotechnology and academic customers.

What can you expect in this role?

  • Drive revenue and cultivate relationships with key B2B & B2C accounts in the North UK & Nordic region.
  • Operate outside the typical sales cycle and focus on revenue growth.
  • Continuously build strong relationships with established companies utilising CRISPR-Cas9 for gene engineering and driving new OEM bioproduction partnerships.
  • Own, drive and close the entire sales cycle end-to-end.
  • Strategically identify and manage client profiles critical to closing a deal – influence, budget owner, decision maker, executive sponsor, etc.
  • Travel time is ~60% across South Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
