Are you a technically-minded expert in adhesive polymers, who is looking for the next step in their career? Have you got a strong background in a customer-facing technical support position or lab experience within the adhesives application? If so, please take a look at the information below on a brand new Technical Service Manager position for the Adhesives business unit of a leading chemicals business.

A Global industry-leader within both solvent and waterborne polymers is looking to make a new addition to their Technical Service team. This business unit provides a multitude of pure acrylic, styrene-acrylic and styrene-butadiene water-based emulsions for multiple adhesive applications, with a focus on industrial tapes and labels.

This position is highly client-facing, travelling around 50% of your time to visit and support customers to maintain account relationships. You must be able to provide detailed troubleshooting, testing projects and consultative support to a variety of different customers, working closely with technical representatives from the client company. As such, this organisation is looking to add a driven and proactive technical representative who will carry the strong brand of the business out into the market, strengthening both new and long-term relationships out in the field.

They would like to bring onboard someone who shares this passion and preferably who has a network in water-based polymers. You will play a key role in maintaining and developing the interface between clients, the internal R&D teams and account management, travelling to the EU R&D headquarters every 4-5 weeks. If you are a confident Technical Service or Application Support professional who is happy to present company solutions to clients and at industry events, then you will excel in this position.
