Business Development Manager - Europe.

CM Industrial have partnered with a young company with disruptive technology that is not only green, but also aiming to change the way we view water disinfection. They offer a complete solution to kill bacteria with their new UV Disinfection offering and are looking to expand their presence in Europe.

 

This is a remote Business Development position that does require 50% travel. We’re looking for Water industry experience, as well as experience selling through Channel Partners and Distributers.

 

The Role:

Reporting to the VP of Sales, you’d be responsible for planning, executing and achieving sales revenue targets as well as:

  • Creating and executing sales strategies, driving profitable sales growth, primarily in Europe and manage, monitor, and control the entire sales process life cycle from leads to closing.
  • Leading go-to-market planning, identify viable leads, manage prospects, build a sustainable pipeline to increase sales, and acquire new and profitable business to meet and exceed established sales goals.
  • Developing relationships with executives and decision makers to understand key applications and generate customer driven product requirements, offer recommendations and solutions, and complete sales, including negotiation to a fully executed final purchase order.

What we need from you:

We’re looking for a hunter, someone who enjoys connecting with new customers and isn’t afraid to travel. As you’d be spending a lot of time in Western Europe, Italian or Spanish language skills would be a real asset. You also need:

  • 5 years of experience in sales, business management and/or sales operations.
  • A Bachelor’s degree, technical degree preferred, MBA would be an asset.
  • To be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial spirited, fast paced and constantly changing workplace environment with a desire to make a significant impact on the business.
  • Water industry experience, with experience of selling to many different channel partners/distributers.
