VP Market Development - Spine.

United States Base, Bonus, Equity, Health, Dental

An opportunity to design & lead the Market Development strategy for a spinal manufacturer with first of it's kind AR & Implant technology.

In this position, you will be the heartbeat of a unique company's commercial expansion in the US. Reporting directly into the CEO, your focus will be to leverage your market knowledge and industry expertise to develop business plans for both market entry & organizational development in the United States. Designing marketing programs, sales strategy & customer development programs that can be executed for effective market launch. 

The company has realistic ambitions for US expansion, with the aim of launching in an effective and sustainable way. Recognizing the talent in the US market, the company is looking for a commercial leader that is motivated to grow a commercial business from its infancy. You will not be expected to 'flip business' or purely 'leverage your rolodex', this is a long term play where the process will take the business to short-term successes.

As a confidential hire, limited information has been shared on the company. They have a unique implant portfolio with enabling technologies that leverage digital solutions that will be aimed at all customer demographics (including ASC's)

Key Candidate Criteria

  • Proven track record in a sales, business development or market development function.
  • Successful history achieving consistent business growth over a sustained period with spinal medical devices.
  • Ideal experience would include sales & marketing leadership (both is not essential)
  • The ability to relocate is desirable (Excessive travel could be considered)
  • Prior experience developing and/or rolling out go-to-market strategies for spinal medical devices.
  • A collaborative team player that can work autonomously

There is scope for this position to be remote, depending on the capabilities of the candidate. Our client is focused on finding a strong match from a skill & culture perspective. Location is not the top priority.
