Business Development Manager - Central Europe.

Charlton Morris have partnered with a leading UV OEM who are looking to consolidate their position in Central Europe. You’d be joining a company that encourages ideas and feedback and are already very well established in the market.


The Role:

This is a remote position and requires more than 50% travel, both within Germany and other parts of Europe.

Reporting to the UV Director for EMEA, your primary function will be to develop business in Central Europe. This includes bringing on new end users, integrators, consultants and partners as well as:

  • Developing and driving the strategic growth vision and objectives, including participating in essential operating rhythm processes with sales leadership, product management, engineering, services, partners.
  • Being responsible for earning customer trust through value driven engagements and solid execution – establish win/win partnerships and deepen relationships.
  • Bringing strong solution selling skills that enable you to deliver high value solutions to the Water industry in both the Industrial and Municipal segment.
  • Establishing, cultivating and maintaining customer relations at appropriate decision-maker levels.
  • Leading the development of sales opportunities and coordinate with the business lines sales support groups.

What do we need from you?


If you can demonstrate solid experience in the Water Industry and:

  • Have a university degree business, economics, engineering or related fields.
  • Have 5 years of work experience in a commercial role.
  • Are Fluent in English and German
  • Have a proven track record of value selling sales success, achievement, and enterprise account management.
  • A customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills and leadership.
